North Windham Veterinary Hospital is a 3 doctor, spacious (6,000 square foot) state-of-the-art hospital. Serving the communities of Windham, Raymond, Casco, Gray, Standish, Westbrook, and greater Portland since 1989, the practice moved from its original location into the current hospital in 2007. We are a full-service dog and cat veterinary hospital that provides a wide range of services including preventative and wellness care, surgery, dentistry, pain management, sick patient diagnostics and medical care/daytime hospitalization, digital radiology (including dental), an in-house laboratory and pharmacy, including prescription diets. WHAT YOU’LL DO   

• Examine and diagnose diseases and injuries of pets (primarily dogs and cats), and treat surgically or medically  
• Collaborate within our veterinary ecosystem, and communicate with referring veterinarians  
• Participate in ongoing education, seminars, and training to stay at the top of your field    
• Administer core vaccinations and counsel clients in well-pet care  
• Perform dentistry as needed  
• Contribute to making our workplace enjoyable for all; staff, clients, and pets

REQUIREMENTS   

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree  
• 2+ years of experience practicing veterinary medicine in a Veterinary Hospital setting is preferred  
• Internship training is also preferred but not required  
• Ability to attain ME Veterinary License   
• Excel in managing time, prioritizing tasks, and thriving in a fast-paced environment
