Animal Care Center of Panama City Beach is a full-service veterinary medical facility, offering GP, urgent care, and afterhours emergency services. Our 5-doctor practice is currently seeking a GP Veterinarian to join our team. The hospital is located on the panhandle of Florida on the emerald waters and white sands of the Gulf of Mexico. We focus on providing progressive small animal preventative and diagnostic medicine and general surgery.
We have a diverse team, and everyone brings something valuable and unique. Our team atmosphere is light-hearted and laid-back with a little dry humor mixed in. We do great medicine and keep our work fun! Communication is highly valued to maintain our cohesive team. We have daily rounds, weekly updates, and quarterly all team meetings. Our tenured staff are expert in a variety of clinical skills and can be counted upon to take care of all technician responsibilities. Our doctors are collaborative, discussing cases and jump in to support one another. The doctors are leaders in the practice. They have the autonomy to make the decisions that best fit their patient and client.
A successful candidate would be a well-rounded general practitioner, or an enthusiastic new graduate. We are seeking are seeking a doctor who is solution-oriented, passionate, and confident. ABOUT THE HOSPITAL
Our practice provides high quality, progressive medical, surgical, and dental care for our highly valued patients and offers:
- 8,000 square foot modern building with 3 standard exam rooms and a consultation room, treatment area with 3 treatment tables, double surgery suite, isolation ward, and oxygen intensive care unit.
- In-house IDEXX laboratory equipment (ability to do thorough diagnostics all in house)
- Digital radiographs using IDEXX’s I-Vision DR system. Isoflurane & Sevoflurane anesthesia, electro-cautery surgical unit, ultrasonic dental equipment, dental radiography and excellent surgical monitoring capabilities.
- Available diagnostic and treatment equipment includes ultrasound, Doppler, TonoPen, ECG, and Companion Therapy laser.
- AVImark software Paperless
- Fully stocked pharmacy.
- Relationships with local rescues and zoo.
- Schedule is 4 weekdays (including one urgent care day and one surgery day per week), and rotating Saturdays
