We need to add an additional team member who can appreciate cutting edge medicine and surgery. We would be willing to hire a new graduate that wants to be mentored by some well-seasoned practitioners and is willing to make lasting client connections. Alternatively our six Veterinarians would not mind learning some new tricks and procedures from our newer graduates. Total staff number is currently at 40. Our clients demand the latest in up to date medicine and surgery. The clinic is over 10,000 square feet and is stocked with some of the finest equipment. We currently have six veterinarians on staff, several registered technicians as well as career veterinary assistants. The practice has digital radiography, an Olympic endoscope and Rhinoscope, Heska and IDEXX chemistry, QBC, an ultrasound with Doppler, complete plating and pinning surgical equipment; not to mention cryosurgery and a Tono pen. Although primarily a Small Animal Hospital we have treated the occasional reptile, goat, and bird. Exotics and large animals could definitely expand the practice if someone had a special interest in these species. We offer a good base salary with a great % production bonus. Starting salary is dependent on experience and a possible bonus is calculated every three months. Blue Cross and Blue Shield Medical and Dental Insurance are available. Looking for a shorter work week? Our veterinarians have a three day weekend every third week and typically work less than 40 hours weekly. When fully staffed we commonly have a four-day work week.
