Shores Animal Hospital is seeking an energetic professional to be a part of our fast paced team. We currently support 4 doctors in our spacious 7000+ square foot state of the art hospital. We strive to offer the gold standard of care to every client and patient that we see. Our hospital has a private fully equipped surgical suite, private digital radiology suite, digital dental radiology, cold laser therapy, a private ultrasound suite, and a complete in-house diagnostic laboratory. By offering private suites for many of our services our patients can relax, not be distracted by others around them and have a less stressful visit. Our hospital has 6 exam rooms, separate small dog, large dog and feline hospital rooms for patient comfort during their stay. Our hospital is located just outside the heart of Gainesville, home to the University of Florida. While we are close to the University we are nestled in an area surrounded by family communities. Requirements:
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university
Licensure in good standing to practice in the state of Florida
Professional comportment and appearance, with excellent interpersonal skills and a positive, friendly attitude
Have the ability to lead the team through a variety of cases
Respect for and willingness to work with clients and their pets
Compassionate team player who can uphold great reputation with clients
A commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine, upholding the veterinary code of ethics
Must be proficient in surgery
